Northwest Foundation Board Member
Board member since 2023
For the first 30 years of my career, I worked side-by-side with my husband, Don, in the family business. Through mergers and acquisitions, we became A&M Green Power, then AgriVision Equipment Group. After my retirement, the business continued to grow through a joint venture to become AVE-PLP, LLC, a John Deere dealer group with over 30 locations in the midwest, where I remain a member.
I was a founding member of the Grape Community Hospital Foundation. This foundation was formed to aid in the hospital's recovery from bankruptcy in the late 80's.
Don and I have three children, Valery, Nicholas and Jessica and seven grandchildren.
"Even though I am not a Northwest graduate, Don and I have been fortunate to become friends of the University over the years. We have been able to endow a scholarship and give to building projects at the University. Northwest offers opportunities for both students and employers with an established track record in preparing students for success. I hope to be able to help contribute to that success in the rapidly changing future."
